Build With Strength, an initiative of the NRMCA, celebrated industry innovators at the 2023 Concrete Innovation Awards at the Keep Memory Alive Events Center in Las Vegas last night. Winners were selected by a panel of five judges for their commitment to improving the resilience, performance and sustainability of concrete.  

SmartMix was honored for its AI-based and IoT concrete mix management, analysis, and reporting capabilities. Through a patented AI algorithm, the software enables producers to build with higher quality while reducing the carbon footprint of concrete production by up to 20%. 

SmartMix represents a significant advancement in Industry 4.0 with the automation and optimization of concrete production, and it is a prime example of how technology can be used to transform traditional industries and drive progress toward a more sustainable and efficient future.
