Sika, which supplies specialty chemicals for the construction industry, has made a strategic minority investment in Giatec, which develops digital concrete technology platforms in Nepean, Ont.
The partnership is intended to accelerate the adoption of Giatec’s technologies for testing, collecting and analyzing data on concrete from production to delivery to placement, which are designed to help experts improve the quality, durability and sustainability of concrete throughout its life cycle.
