Giatec 360™: A Connected Concrete Data Platform for Producers

A ready-mix plant already generates more data than most teams can use, but without a connected concrete data platform, most of it stays scattered. Mix designs sit in one system, the order book in another, and batch weights, truck readings, and test breaks each live somewhere else. Turning that data into a decision usually means exporting, reconciling, and re-entering it by hand, often after the load has left the yard.

Introducing Giatec 360™, a connected concrete data platform built to close that gap! It links data from the lab, the batch plant, the truck, and the jobsite, so every team works from the same live record. In this blog, you will learn how Giatec 360 connects concrete data across the systems plants already run, and how that connected data can guide each load before it is batched.

What Is Giatec 360?

Giatec 360 is a connected concrete data platform that brings mix design, batching, delivery, and in-place monitoring data into one workspace. You sign in once, manage users and plant-level access in one place, and connect to the batch control and dispatch systems your plant already uses.

Giatec introduced the platform at ConcreteWorks in Nashville in October 2026. Rather than launching every capability at once, Giatec is proving the platform one product at a time, because a platform earns its value through the products built on it.

What Runs on Giatec 360 Today

Four products now sit side by side in the same workspace:

  • Giatec SmartMix™ handles mix design and quality control, so your QC team works from one record of every mix.
  • MixPilot™ monitors slump, temperature, and volume on ready-mix trucks while the concrete is in transit.
  • SmartRock® sensors attach to the rebar and are embedded in the concrete, where they record temperature and calculate maturity-based strength estimates following ASTM C1074.
  • Batch CoPilot™, now in preview, gives batch plant operators AI-guided recommendations before each load is batched.

Why the Shared Connections Matter Most

The workspace is the part you see. The shared services behind it are the part that changes how fast you can adopt new tools.

Every new product on Giatec 360 uses the same login, permissions, and system connections instead of starting from scratch. Each integration Giatec completes with a producer’s batch or dispatch system becomes a connection the next product can use. A single API also gives you access to your data in your own dashboards and business intelligence (BI) tools, and Giatec is building support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) so you can query production data in plain language through AI assistants.

Why Disconnected Concrete Data Costs You Time and Material

Most quality problems at a ready-mix plant are not caused by a missing measurement. They happen because the right measurement is in the wrong system when someone needs to act on it.

Consider water. ASTM C94, the standard specification for ready-mixed concrete, sets slump tolerances and limits when water can be added at the jobsite. When your batcher cannot see how a load is behaving in the drum, drivers end up correcting slump with water at the washdown rack or on site, after the fact.

Each of those systems holds part of the answer. The answer only becomes useful when transit, mix, and order data can inform the next batch before it leaves the plant, which is where a shared platform comes in.

Batch CoPilot: Connected Data at Work in the Batch Plant

Batch CoPilot is the first product built on Giatec 360 from day one. It gives your batch plant operators data-driven recommendations on water adjustments, ticket by ticket, before each load is batched.

A mix design is a fixed recipe. The conditions each load faces are not. Batch CoPilot helps your team tune each load to the haul, the weather, and the materials it will actually meet, and it puts the judgment of your most experienced batchers in front of every shift.

How Batch CoPilot Works

  1. Batch CoPilot reads upcoming orders from your order book, including the mix, the volume, and the destination jobsite.
  1. It pulls the mix design targets and quality data for that mix from Giatec SmartMix.
  1. It factors in transit data from MixPilot trucks, so each recommendation accounts for the slump the concrete is likely to lose on the way to the jobsite.
  1. It delivers the recommendation to the plant team through your batch system integration, and batch weights flow back to the platform.

Without a shared platform, each of those data sources would be a separate integration project for every producer. On Giatec 360, the connections already exist, and Batch CoPilot is built on top of them.

Where Batch CoPilot Stands Today

Batch CoPilot is in beta today with a small group of ready-mix producers, and that is by design. Giatec is building it alongside the QC teams and batchers who will use it every shift.

Together, they review each recommendation against what actually happened at the plant, and their feedback shapes every update. A recommendation earns its place in the product only after it holds up in real production.

What a Connected Concrete Data Platform Means for Your Operation

Batch CoPilot is the first product on Giatec 360, not the last. Each product added to the platform strengthens the same foundation and puts more of your concrete data in one place, connected to the systems you already use.

For your team, that shows up in practical ways:

  • Your QC manager, plant operators, dispatchers, and field crews work from the same live record instead of reconciling separate reports.
  • Your plant adopts new tools without a fresh integration project each time.
  • Your data stays accessible through a single API, so it feeds your own reporting as well as Giatec products.

Over time, the same foundation can carry data across the full concrete lifecycle, from the plant to the jobsite. It also opens the door to sharing the right data with the contractors and engineers you work with, on your terms. Giatec plans to share more on that direction in the future.

Build Every Load on One Data Foundation

Your mix designs, orders, truck data, and batch records already hold the answers your plant needs. Giatec 360 connects them in one place, and Batch CoPilot shows what that connection makes possible at the batch panel.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Giatec 360?

Giatec 360 is a connected concrete data platform for ready-mix producers. It brings mix design, batching, delivery, and in-place monitoring data into one workspace, with one login and shared connections to batch control and dispatch systems. SmartMix, MixPilot, SmartRock, and Batch CoPilot all run on it.

What Is Batch CoPilot?

Batch CoPilot is the first AI product built on Giatec 360 from day one. It uses upcoming orders, mix design targets, and in-transit slump data to recommend adjustments such as water before each load is batched. It is currently in preview with a small group of ready-mix producers.

Is Giatec 360 the Same as SmartRock Web?

No. Giatec 360 is the platform that connects Giatec products and your plant systems. SmartRock Web is the dashboard for monitoring SmartRock sensor data from your pours.

What Systems Does Giatec 360 Connect With?

Giatec 360 connects with batching software, dispatch systems, and business systems your plant already runs. Support for environmental product declaration (EPD) data sources and break-testing systems extends its reach, and Giatec is expanding the integration network through 2026.

Do I Need Every Giatec Product to Use Giatec 360?

The right starting point depends on your current setup. Giatec 360 builds on Giatec’s existing products, and the Giatec team can map it to the systems you use today.
