Giatec is looking forward to partnering with Unicon to bring smart solutions to their customers in Denmark

OTTAWA, Canada: Giatec Scientific, the market leader of revolutionary concrete testing equipment, today announced it has partnered with Unicon, Denmark’s leading manufacturer and supplier of ready-mixed concrete. Unicon offers tailor-made concrete solutions for all types of construction projects to both private and professional customers. With 33 concrete factories, they are the only company to deliver throughout Denmark due to their advanced production and logistics systems. Now, they will introduce SmartRock® maturity sensors to their customers.

“We are very excited to partner with Giatec, supplier of concrete maturity monitoring devices. Their solution is easy to setup, quick to install and you’re up and running in no time. This brings great value to our customers. You cast the sensors directly into the concrete, which ensures that the sensors are safe and will not be interfered with while measuring. This brings additional safety to the solution. Further, this gives a very efficient logistics setup where you don’t have to worry about checking the sensors after each use, or have any issues with cabling. We trust Giatec Solutions to be the best in market, and we look forward to bringing speed and innovation to the construction sites.”

Morten Lægsgaard, Procurement Manager

SmartRock is the most widely used wireless concrete sensor, currently being implemented in over 8,000 construction projects worldwide. As the first truly wireless sensor introduced to the market in 2015, SmartRock is the leading concrete maturity sensor for accurate monitoring of concrete curing and hardening. Together with the Giatec 360™ platform, and SmartHub™ remote monitoring system this has enabled faster, safer, and more economical concrete construction.
