Abstract :

► We used rice husk to improve thermal properties of clay brick. ► We examine changes in the brick properties of the rice husk addition ratio. ► The porosity and water absorption has been increasing with the increased firing temperature and rice husk addition. ► The thermal conductivity coefficient decreasing by the increased ratio of rice husk. ► Bricks with ground rice husk have higher thermal conductivity coefficients than bricks with coarse rice husk.
